| SEATTLE SEAHAWKS |
A LOGO OVERVIEW / ANALYSIS |
The original franchise logo, replete with imbalanced color scheme. If there was some effort to be imitative of Native Pacific art style, it was undone by its "stamped out by a bad metal press" ergonomics. Lack of contrast between blue and green values also inhibit any chance for design clarity. |
The most recent re-design, which is an obvious improvement, but still way too linear & inorganic. Although the darker blue and lighter green now have more separation/ contrast, the green is too "limey" to use as anything but an accent or pinstripe, and the addition of a third, medium-ish sort-of blue doesn't aid with clarity. |

This adaptation of the current logo is smoother, more organic, and reads much better from a distance. The color scheme is also improved, as the less-intense seafoam green provides a much better and more pleasing contrast with the dark navy. This blue/green color scheme is also unique among NFL and major college teams. |

-- It also works on silver (just in case they ever wanted to go back to silver helmets) |
