MISSISSIPPI STATE BULLDOGS
ON "BRANDING"
"Branding" is the process of constantly presenting the consumer with the same image over and over in order to create familiarity. This repetitive marketing approach has little to do with your individual "brand," and treats the consumer like a calf ready for a red-hot "brand"-ing iron between the eyes.

One size rarely fits all; what works for basketball doesn't always
necessarily work for football. Your "Brand" or Logo MUST be legible and
easily recognizable from a distance on television, ESPECIALLY on Saturday's
ESPN SportsCenter.

The "M State" logo may look great on the floor of the Hump, but it's difficult to read on Coach Mullen's helmet. Alabama's numbers and Auburn's "AU" come through loud and clear, but the "M State" disappears in a long shot. What this all means is...

"Branding" doesn't work unless they can READ the Brand.
