Over the past 15 years, Jeff Callaway has performed or recorded as a trombonist with legends like John Hiatt, Charley Pride, Jim Dickinson, Marty Stuart, Bobby Rush, Jimbo Mathus, Jim Gaines, Dorothy Moore, Pinetop Perkins, Paul Overstreet, with groups like The Four Tops, The Temptations, the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, the Williams Brothers, The Actual Tigers, and jammed with everyone from the Bo-Keys to Bonerama, while also working with Mississippi-based groups such as the Kudzu Kings, Blue Mountain, Afrissippi, The Neckbones, The Hemptones, Taylor Grocery Band, The Sincere Ramblers, Charlie Mars, The Vamps, Patrick Smith Band, the Dee Barton Orchestra, the Bluz Boys, Capitol City Stage Band, the Ole Miss Marching Band and the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra, among others.

| A frequent performer on Mississippi Public Radio on the Oxford, Mississippi-based Thacker Mountain Radio, he is currently preparing to release his debut solo multi-instrumental album, By Landlord's Request. He holds music education degrees from Ole Miss and VanderCook College of Music in Chicago, and in 2003 was elected into the Ole Miss Jazz Alumni Hall of Fame. |
